The subject follows the program of skill training during continuous professional training IV. It is taught at professional workplaces of medical institutions including specialized institutions. It guides students towards independent work at a professional level. The goal of the subject is to gain knowledge of applied occupational therapy procedures in indicative areas of neurology, neurosurgery, prosthetics of psychiatry, the knowledge of principles covering medical procedures when following complex rehabilitation plan.
Subject Knowledge: Students can describe admission / checking / release medical examination. They can describe occupational therapy intervention. Professional Skills: They can choose suitable occupational therapy methods and procedures based on examination. They can realize a short-term occupational therapy plan. |
