Course content
Seminar Topics: 1. Introduction to the study, etiopetogenesis of diseases in internal medicine, basic examination methods in internal medicine, treatment procedures internally, general symptomatology - geriatric specifics, examination of basic physiological functions and examination of cardiac patients, use of ICT in therapy 2. ICT as part of occupational therapy + review study 3. Programs suitable for occupational therapy interventions 4. ICT in dementia 5. ICT in Parkinson's disease 6. ICT at Artroz 7. Practical use of programs on PC 8. Practical use of the game console 9. Repetition

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to provide theoretical basics for occupational therapy, especially knowledge of general symptoms of diseases, to acquaint them with examination and treatment methods and to provide special knowledge of individual diseases and acute conditions. The importance of prevention is emphasized. The aim is to enable students to acquire theoretical background concerning examination methods, clinical signs and treatment methods of internal diseases, which will be complemented by the use of modern technologies in clinical practice.
Expertise: Student demonstrates professional knowledge of modern technologies that are used in occupational therapy. In connection with this knowledge, the student demonstrates expertise in the use of individual modern technologies and individual programs in the most frequent diagnoses of geriatric clients. Professional skills: The student can choose the intervention program with the chosen modern technology for individual diagnoses. Competences: The student is able to apply theoretical knowledge of examination methods in practice. They are able to adequately incorporate modern technologies into occupational therapy intervention.
