Lecture Topics: 1. Introducing the health care system, payment system and the organization of health care institutions. 2. Planning of activities and organization of occupational therapy department, cooperation with other experts. 3. Pregradual and postgradual education of occupational therapists. 4. Occupational organization. 5. Financial and statistic reports and records. 6. The function of the doctors acting as auditors. 7. Management principles. Seminar Topics: 1. Discussion with a leader of rehabilitation department. 2. Presentation of medical records and suggestions for complete treatment program. 3. Presentation of medical records and suggestions for complete treatment program. 4. Plan suggestions for buying material. 5. Discussion about the responsibilities of health care workers. 6. Duty of confidentiality, responsibility according to the civil code. 7. Revision.

The subject provides information regarding health care system and organization of occupational therapy department. Students gain information about predispositions for creating non-conflict work relationships.
Subject Knowledge: Student is familiarized with the health care system and the specifics of rehabilitation work places program and occupational therapists who work there. Professional Skills: Student is able to apply gained knowledge in operation within the field of occupational therapy.
