Course content
Lecture Topics: 1. Basic concepts, introduction to the subject, basic assumptions of anatomy, biomechanics and neurophysiology. 2. Ontogenesis of movement development, movement as an output function of organism. 3. Functional barriers of the joint, structural and functional patterns of the joint, pattern and non-specimen muscles as a basis for the diagnosis of physiological and pathological movement. 4. Muscle contraction, biomechanical parameters, concentric, isometric and eccentric contractions. 5. Functional muscle chains. 6. Involvement of upper and lower limbs, individual joints into flexion and extension chains. 7. Involvement of the spine, phasic and postural muscles in the flexion and extension chains. 8. Projection of internal organs of muscle chains through autonomous reflexes. 9. Proprioceptors, their influence on muscle tension. Somatic and visceral pain, their effect on movement changes. Exercise Topics: 1. Introduction, basic terminology, anatomy, biomechanics, algorithm of mobilization techniques 2. Joint mobilization - shoulder joint 3. Joint mobilization - wrist and hand 4. Repetition 5. Joint mobilization - hip joint 6. Joint mobilization - knee joint 7. Joint mobilization - ankle joint 8. Joint mobilization - others (pelvis, etc.) 9. Repetition

Learning outcomes
The subject follows the knowledge gained in anatomy, biomechanics and neurophysiology. It deals with general function of joints and its skeletal muscles in connection with using them for complex movements such as walking, running, common activities of daily life which are analyzed from the point of their normal and pathologic function. It provides information about ontogenetic development of human movement.
Subject Knowledge: Student can describe functional patterns of individual joints of the limbs and individual part of the back bone and their employment into flexion and extension muscle chains. He knows the influence of irritation of proprioceptors and nociceptors on the changes of the muscle tension. Furthermore, he knows the influence of dysfunctions of inner organs on the movement. Professional Skills: Student is able to apply different types of muscle contractions and is able to assess the correctness of making different common movements based on watching the movement and based on function examination of the knuckles. He is able to influence muscle strength and muscle chains by influencing skin proprioceptors.
