The subject builds on the knowledge gained in the subjects of anatomy, biomechanics, neurophysiology and kinesiology. It deals with selected movement methods and concepts used in ergotherapy. It provides information on ontogenetic development of human movement.
Expertise: The student knows the basic methods on the neurophysiological basis and their use in complex physical functions and daily activities. It also knows how pathological syndromes of individual parts of the body are moving. Professional skills: The student can apply basic principles of ball facilitation, non-specific mobilization, taping and sensory integration according to Joan Ayres.
