Course content
Seminar Topics: 1. Introduction of different yoga styles 2. Exercising individual Ashtanga Yoga Yoga of the basic series, working with breath (Pranayama), with energy locks (Bandhy) and looking direction (Dristhi) 3. Basics of purification techniques, basic Mudra, 4. Basics of relaxation and meditation (Dhyana). 5. Basics of concentration (Dharana). 6. Diet and Yoga.

Learning outcomes
The course provides basic information about different styles of yoga, yoga methods, its use in healthy individuals, possibilities of application in patients with musculoskeletal disorders, nervous diseases, cardiovascular, respiratory and other disorders. The aim is to understand the importance of basic kits for use in ergotherapy, to learn the individual methods of yoga and to learn moral principles in yoga.
Expertise: The student demonstrates a broad knowledge of yoga exercises in ergotherapy, understanding the possibilities and conditions of use of yoga elements in the area of internal medicine, rheumatology and neurology. It demonstrates understanding of the possibilities of using yoga in occupational therapy. Professional skills: The student can use basic principles of yoga exercises, work with breath and relaxation. Based on these practical experiences, the student can acquire additional professional knowledge. Competences: The student is able to practically use the basic principles of yoga exercise and relaxation in individual areas of ergotherapy.
