Learning outcomes
The content of the course is an individual practical activity of students in health care facilities, social and rehabilitation institutions under the methodical guidance of an experienced worker. The objective of individual professional practice is to provide professional practical preparation for the occupation in the operating conditions. Students will deepen their knowledge gained in professional subjects of the study program, obtain information and background for the elaboration of their bachelor thesis.
Expertise: Students will deepen their knowledge and practical skills acquired in professional subjects of the field of study and will learn to respect the specificities of clients, rules and principles of ethics of behavior of the occupational therapist. Professional skills: The student is able to choose a suitable method of entry and exit examination with regard to the patient's diagnosis, to plan ergotherapeutic intervention with regard to the diagnosis and the client's age. Competences: The student is able to carry out the examination of functional muscle test according to Janda, grip examination and manipulation (using standard JM tests), examination of stereognosis, stature examination - static and dynamic, re-education of postural functions (patient verticalization and walking training on crutches), ADL training BADL / IADL), examination and analysis of walking, training of graphomotorics, design ergotherapeutic plan and implement it. He is capable of leading ergotherapeutic documentation and administration in occupational therapy.
