Learning outcomes
The course is a part of a complex of basic study prerequisites and its content follows on the knowledge gained in anatomy. The aim of the course is to understand the basic physiological processes of individual organ systems, to understand the basic management systems.
Expertise: The student is able to describe the basic physiological processes in the human body, including mutual interactions, is able to put the basic structure of the human body with individual physiological processes. Professional skills: The student is able to clinically recognize deviations from the physiological state, is able to apply in practice the knowledge concerning physiological adaptation, especially during physical exercise or pregnancy. Competences: The student is able to understand the pathophysiology of individual states on the basis of acquired knowledge and to use the knowledge in the study of clinical subjects.
