Seminar Topics: 1st consultation: -Introduction to the subject of art therapy, definitions and definitions. -Division, aims, forms of art therapy. The meaning of colors. Structure of art therapy meeting. Drawing tests. -Possibilities of application of art therapy in occupational therapy according to target group of patients / clients. -Artetherapy in the Czech Republic and in the world. Self-study: Contemporary art therapy directions. Drawing tests. Study of other techniques in art therapy. Directory of suitable topics by target group of patients / clients.

Learning outcomes |
The course provides basic information on the use of art therapy in children and adults with mental, physical and sensory disabilities. Furthermore, it deals with art therapy within ergotherapy and enables students to acquire some techniques applied in occupational therapy. It enables students to lead a selected art therapy program with a focus on working in a group. Students apply their communication skills, work with group activities in group management.
Expertise: The student demonstrates knowledge of art therapy approaches in the field of occupational therapy. Students can describe basic art therapy techniques. They can explain the goals of art therapy in occupational therapy according to the target group. Professional skills: They can realize art therapy meetings according to the target group of patients and clients with regard to their diagnosis and age. He suggests art therapy techniques in ergotherapeutic interventions according to the established occupational therapy plan. Competences: The student is able to practically use the approaches of art therapy according to the individual's diagnosis |
