Course content
1. Cultural products and diverse resources - human, material, financial, environmental, political, technical, emotional, etc. 2. Operational and technical aspects of production - use of technologies and new media in production processes and event implementation 3. Operational and technical aspects of production - insurance for various types of events, meeting with an insurance agent, preparing documentation for insurance, and examples based on activity types in CCI 4. Utilization of AI in cultural production and its application in production work (guest) 5. Searching for and booking suitable venues for cultural and creative activities, venue categories and event registration, including partial activities - event or project notifications (OSA, hygiene, city administration, etc.) 6. Current challenges in networking within the cultural environment and CCI - current platforms, opportunities, and resources 7. The value and values of work in culture, from pricing to value creation (guest) 8. Artistic and cultural activism - selected examples 9. Current perspectives in CCI production - sustainability and continuous development, including the concept of degrowth in culture 10. Current perspectives in CCI production - ethical conduct and decision-making 11. Current perspectives in CCI production - goals and benefits in a broader societal context 12. Case study from practice - European Capital of Culture, benefits and impacts on culture in a specific locality (guest)

Learning outcomes
The course builds on the diverse experiences of students and recapitulates their previously acquired knowledge in production within the creative and cultural industries (CCI). It focuses on the perspectives and aspects of production in the cultural and creative sectors, enabling students to facilitate and perform production work. Students will engage with the latest challenges in cultural production and creatively designed products, including resource management, exploring various angles of sustainability, ethical practices, and value creation. A specific part of the course addresses operational and technical aspects of production. Students will learn to identify and draft documentation for the technical support of production activities and will gain knowledge of platforms that facilitate networking within the cultural and creative sectors.
The acquired competencies represent the mastery and application of knowledge in the given field, based on the specific course description and aimed at fulfilling the graduate profile.
