The course introduces students to the issue of curatorial work from various points of view. Through the analysis of the role of the curator, curatorial personalities in the Czech Republic and abroad, and selected curatorial activities, students become familiar with the various approaches that characterize curatorial work. The course also notes various changes in connection with the theory and history of art, the development of the institutional field, as well as the penetration of sociological aspects into art in general. In addition to theoretical seminars, the course also includes a practical level that actively connects acquired knowledge and information - excursions to an exhibition institution, a visit to a curator, an active analysis of a curatorial exhibition, etc.
