1. Basic legislative framework. 2. Act on the Protection of Museum Collections. 3. Inventory of collections, legislation of the Czech Republic, ICOM. 4. Inventory of collection items. 5. Administrative treasures in collecting organizations, cataloguing, acquisition, archiving. 6. Science or diplomacy, the idea of an exhibition project, approaching lenders. 7. Mobility of collections, indicative budget, tenders. 8. Exhibition. 9. Administration of the exhibition. 10. Exhibition production. 11. Catalogue. Knowledge. 12. Excursion to a selected collection.

The course contains a basic overview of the history of museums and collecting, including medallions of the most important personalities. A separate section is dedicated to current issues of museology and the protection of collections (legislation, structure of museums and their activities). Seminars are organized in the field and are oriented towards current issues ? the creation of collection funds and their restoration, collection records, presentation of funds, etc. The very end of the course is an exam in museology and collection protection.
The gained capabilities constitute an encompassment and an aquirement of knowledge and experience in the subject and are aimed at a profile´s fulfilment of the graduate of the given field of study. |
