Course content
1. Introductory meeting and definition of curatorial studies issues; preparation of presentations of individual activities to date students. 2. Presentation of student projects and projection of ideas of individual students about their preferred role within the framework teamwork. 3. Defining the preferred areas that should become the subject of curatorial research. 4. The essence of curatorial research, methodology and terminology of curatorial field practice. 5. Curatorial research in the past and today ? visits to studios, personal meetings with artists, authorial self-reflections, demonstrations author monographs. 6. Curatorial research in the past and today ? visits to gallery institutions, collections, communication with their tribal curators. 7. Curatorial research past and present - online collections, web platforms, artists' personal websites, digital institution profiles, social media in curatorial practice, art criticism in the online environment, web curation exhibition projects, NFT issues. 8-12 Discussion of the topics raised, search for intersections, relevance of selected topics to current general ones artistic and social trends, definition of the theoretical framework of the issue, finalization and clarification of a common theme, a consensual presentation of a group curatorial intention.

Learning outcomes
The four-semester Curator's Workshop I-IV course is the backbone of the study program and an essential part of its compulsory foundation. It introduces students to the complex issues of curatorial activities both theoretically and practically. On the basis of acquired knowledge, the student becomes familiar with the gallery operation in a moderated process - together with others, he sets the year's theme, manages teamwork with the distribution of competences, defines and prepares the curatorial plan, selection of artists, financial balance sheet, realization of the exhibition and PR strategy, etc. During the first semester, students gradually refine the jointly chosen topic and adapt it to a specific gallery space.
The gained capabilities constitute an encompassment and an aquirement of knowledge and experience in the subject and are aimed at a profile´s fulfilment of the graduate of the given field of study.
