Course content
1. basic determination of the research goal (bounded by time and place) based on the keywords of the bachelor's thesis. 2. presentation of the research goal of the work; consultation of key topics in the introductory part of the work. 3. rules for deriving research questions. 4. presentation of research questions; consultation on the procedure for writing the introductory part of the work. 5. rules of constructing a research sample and choosing a research method to meet the research goal. 6. presentation of the first data. 7. data analysis. 8. presentation of analysis results; consultation for writing the results section. 9. Rules when writing a discussion. 10. Consultation for discussion. 11. presentation of the main findings of the bachelor's thesis.

Learning outcomes
The main goal of the course is the timely submission of a coherent, cultivated, professional text with all formal and content requirements, prepared according to the principles for writing qualifications at the Faculty of Art and Design of the J. E. Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem. Students are acquainted with the basics of structuring and writing an academic text (IMRaD), working with sources and other sources of information. We will primarily focus on the following structure of thinking: the aim of the work, hypothesis and thesis or scientific questions, methodologically justified procedure.
The gained capabilities constitute an encompassment and an aquirement of knowledge and experience in the subject and are aimed at a profile´s fulfilment of the graduate of the given field of study.
