Course content
1. primary definition of the research objective (bounded by time and place) based on keywords of the Bachelor's work. 2. presentation of the research objective of the work; consulting key themes in the introductory part of the work. 3. rules for deriving research questions. 4. presentation of research questions; consulting the procedure for writing the introductory part of the work. 5. rules for constructing a research sample and choice of a research method to meet the research objective. 6. presentation of the first data. 7. data analysis. 8. presentation of the analysis results; consultation for writing the results section. 9. rules for writing the discussion. 10. consultation for discussion. 11. presentation of the main findings of the Bachelor's work.

Learning outcomes
The main objective of the course is timely submission of a coherent, cultivated, professional text with all formal and content requirements, processed in accordance with the principles for writing theses at the Faculty of Art and Design at J. E. Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem. Students become acquainted with the basics of structuring and writing an academic text (IMRaD), working with sources and other information sources. We will primarily focus on the following structure of thinking: the objective of the work, hypothesis and thesis or scientific questions, methodically substantiated procedure.
The gained capabilities constitute an encompassment and an aquirement of knowledge and experience in the given field of study, they result from a concrete annotation of the subject and are aimed at a profile´s fulfilment of the graduate of the given field of study.
