Graphic design surrounds us in public space at every step. Students will become more deeply acquainted with terms such as information design, unified visual style, orientation system, critical and speculative design, motion design, namely against the background of the changes that have taken place in recent decades in the field of visual communication and the study of visual culture. The course aims to deepen the understanding of the field beyond the solution of common design practice. In addition to the teacher's lectures, students are significantly involved in discussions in exercises and workshop activities on currently selected topics.
The gained capabilities constitute an encompassment and an aquirement of knowledge and experience in the given field of study, they result from a concrete annotation of the subject and are aimed at a profile´s fulfilment of the graduate of the given field of study.
