Learning outcomes

The seminar in English aims to acquaint students with the practice of art-theoretic research with a special focus on the so-called "artistic research", i.e. research that uses art as a methodological tool to explore the world. The seminar has a practical structure - it presents individual phases of research "step-by-step", from the initial formulation of the research goal to reporting the result in the form of a paper or a thesis. Each step is then always associated with examples from practice and practical training in a group.
The gained capabilities constitute an encompassment and an aquirement of knowledge and experience in the given field of study, they result from a concrete annotation of the subject and are aimed at a profile´s fulfilment of the graduate of the given field of study.
