Learning outcomes
The thematic block of Photography and contemporary art focuses on a detailed analysis of contemporary artistic trends, and on reflection of significant photographic approaches. These activities take place on both artistic and artistic-critical levels. A special attention is given to contextualization of Czech photography within European and world cultural space. Part of the course is cooperation with prestige Czech exhibition and collection institutions, and direct cooperation with professional periodicals - especially participation in editorial activities of the artistic revue Fotograf.
The gained capabilities constitute an encompassment and an aquirement of knowledge and experience in the given field of study, they result from a concrete annotation of the subject and are aimed at a profile´s fulfilment of the graduate of the given field of study.
