Learning outcomes
The course is focused on introducing students to the open-source 3D software Blender and the fundamentals of using generative artificial intelligence in the field of visual communication. The aim is to expand the visual repertoire of graphic design students by incorporating 3D space, textures, light, and motion, and by connecting these elements with current AI tools that serve both as a source of inspiration and as a means of production. The course emphasizes the practical mastery of core techniques in 3D modeling, shading, composition, and rendering, while also exploring the potential of AI tools such as text-to-image, image-to-3D, or the generation of visual elements. It reflects the current direction of visual design, where the boundaries between graphic design, animation, 3D, and interactive media are increasingly blurred. Course Objectives: To acquire the fundamentals of working in Blender from the perspective of visual communication. To become familiar with generative AI tools as sources of visual inspiration and creative output. To create a visually strong and personal project that merges traditional graphic design with 3D or AI elements.
Understanding of the fundamentals of 3D modeling and rendering for visual communication. Ability to use AI tools as part of the visual creation process. Creation of an original output within the context of contemporary graphic design. Ability to combine traditional and digitally generated elements into a cohesive visual expression.
Prerequisites
Successful completion of previous courses focused on digital visual creation.

Assessment methods and criteria
unspecified
Active participation in classes and consultations. Regular submission of partial assignments. Development and presentation of an original visual project. Brief reflection on the process in the form of documentation (e.g., PDF or video).
