The course Disciplinary Software I-VI is intended for KDE and KUU students to master the work with software in 3D and 2D. Students will gain the knowledge needed not only to study at university, but also for subsequent practice. Therefore, the course is designed to meet the requirements of studio teaching with regard to the requirements for the professional life of the student. The aim of the courses is to acquire and master the skills to control selected programs and knowledge of the possibilities of applying data from computer modeling in practice. The subject Disciplinary software I-VI is divided into six semesters and in them subsequently work with 2D software and 3D software, while the individual courses follow each other programmatically. In the subject Disciplinary Software IV, students will get acquainted with the possibilities of using data from 3D modeling. The first part of the semester will be devoted to data applications for production. Students will get acquainted with concepts such as CAD, CAM, Rapid prototyping and learn to prepare data for 3D printing, CNC machining, laser cutting and other manufacturing technologies. The following lessons will be devoted to creating visualizations of 3D models, rendering. Students will learn to work professionally with textures, light, environment, as well as will address the issue of quality and size of the resulting renders.
The gained capabilities constitute an encompassment and an aquirement of knowledge and experience in the given field of study, they result from a concrete annotation of the subject and are aimed at a profile´s fulfilment of the graduate of the given field of study.
