The course is focused on a preparation of independent creative personalities in design of furnishing objects and interior architecture. The study aims at the ability of coordination and using related disciplines of applied art in comprehensive spatial rendering. During the study, the graduate will obtain a general overview of issues in interior creation, and in the form of particular, specifically targeted tasks, they will acquaint themselves with designing both details and the space. They will as well gain knowledge of processing graphic schemes and production documentation.
The student can process an assigned theme in the sphere of product design or creation of furniture in the authorial manner. The student is able to present the outcome in graphic programs and 3D models, and to create a portfolio. Using a functional prototype, the student can document the technological and technical process of manufacture. They are able to defend and explain the function of the assignment being solved, to clarify the procedure, and to present the final form of the submitted product. The student can solve their own installation, and defend and present their original work before the assessment committee. The student can elaborate an assigned topic in product design or furniture creation in an original way. They can present the outcome in graphic programmes, 3D models, and can create a portfolio. The student is able to document the technical and technological process of creation using a functional prototype.
