The studio programme is focused on perfect industrial design in applied and decorative ceramics and porcelain. The studio brings up personalities educated both in arts and the theory - designers, who can design a comprehensive product as to the shape, the structure, the colour, and the material arising from the purpose function of the product and aiming to general esthetic shaping of lifestyle. The course emphasizes developing surface and spatial perception, and mastering techniques of drawing, painting, and modelling. Students solve individual study tasks focused on industrial production, they deepen their technological and craft knowledge and skills, and make clear about outer and inner relations of the subject.
The student has a notion of the issues of semestral tasks. They can chart the extent of possibilities and risks of their work. They can independently find the way leading to the solution of the assignment. The student is able to present their attitude and can focus on the target of their efforts in terms of the ideology, the craft, and also of the technology and postproduction. They master work in 3D programs and can find current information on special programs. The student can handle technological equipment and is familiar with their systemic application and maintenance. They have a basic knowledge of ceramic technology.
