1. Development of the interrelationships between man and nature. 2. History of environmental and economic connections of nature conservation. 3. Ecosystems in the Czech Republic. Natural and near-nature ecosystems. 4. Ecosystem protection in the ecological networks. 5. Contemporary concept of nature and landscape conservation in the context of the life environment management and relationship to the human activities influencing the nature. 6. Protected large-scale and small-scale areas, protected species of plants and animals. 7. General nature conservation. 8. Methods of natural resources protection, zones of the water resources protection, gene bases. Protection forests and forests of specific purposes. 9. Biological diversity, definition, endangerment, protection. 10. Environmental law No. 114/92 Sb. and ministerial regulations. Authorities of nature conservation. Non-governmental organizations. 11. Active protection of rare and endangered plant and animal species. 12. International nature conservation, its development, programme and projects, bilateral and multilateral cooperation. 13. Methods of nature and landscape protection (ecosystem management), monitoring of the natural component status. 14. Principles of the nature conservation strategies. Global aspects.
