Part of the state doctoral examination is the defense of the dissertation. In this work, the doctoral candidate must demonstrate that it is capable of independent creative work that can bring innovative knowledge and convincingly interpret the phenomena dealt with. Dissertation has prescribed range (minimum 160 pages) and contains pre-defined requirements (list sources referenced literature, other sources used, foreign-language abstracts, etc.).
