Lectures will be focused on introduction into individual concepts which were main influences in thinking about literature of 20th century (formalism, new critique, structuralism, marxism, post-structuralism, deconstruction, feministic critique, new historicism etc.). The colloquium will not only be centered on particular theoretical issues but it will also dwell on the use of discussed methodology in educational content of primary and secondary schools (e.g. new historicism as a mean of an untraditional conception of literature history exposition, semiotic and deconstructive models as a stimuli for interpretation, the theory of fictional worlds as a tool for explanation of distinction between fictional and factual narration etc.).
