Course content
|
Content: 1. Current developmental tendencies in contemporary Czech lexicon. 2. Ways of enrichment of lexicon and affiliated changes typological hierarchy of new naming in contemporary Czech depending on extra and intro lingual factors. 3. Use of word-formation techniques (derivation, composition, abbreviation) when forming new words. 4. Lexical borrowing from other languages and a measure of its adaptation. 5. New meanings of lexical units and a process of development of new phrases (including idioms). 6. Paradigmatical and syntagmatical relations within the lexicon.
