Learning outcomes
This course introduces students to the visual discipline, the aim of the course is to make students acquire basic skills in visual literacy for the analysis and interpretation of the image, in the context of the functioning of visual culture in the contemporary world. The lecture is accompanied by exercises based on image interpretation and practical visual output. Aquiring credit is oral, art output from the seminars and consulted topic are evaluated.
Student will acquire basic competency in visual literacy, has requirements for analysis of visual expression in new media, he can find relations of visual culture in current social conditions.
Prerequisites
knowledge of the field on the level of GCSE exam knowledge of disciplines connected to the central domain of study knowledge of appropriate terminology
