The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the development of ethical theories from antiquity to the present, with examples of phenomena such as freedom, responsibility, good, ageism, death, suffering or institution. The commentary is guided with regards to the practical needs of workers in the public sphere. It is therefore to ensure that students not only learned the theoretical foundation of ethics as a philosophical discipline, but to also understand the socilization importance of ethics. The overall goal is also to understand ethics as practical philosophy, which is today fundamentally necessary for the functioning of interpersonal relationship.
The student will adopt the code of ethics of a news staff, he knows the basic rules and principles of journalistic work, he understands the the need to comply with the ethical principles in his future career and he is able to distinguish morality and immorality of the news.
