Course content
1. Literature before year 1989. 2. Metamorphoses of literary works after year 1989. 3. Wave of diaries, memoires and other so-called authentical literary works. 4. Auto-reflective literature, writing about writing. 5. Literature and beginning of post-modernism. 6. Poetry - metamorphoses of older generation literary works. 7. Poetry - younger poets and beginners. 8. Prose - comebacks of "sixties era authors". 9. Prose - "middle" generation of novelists. 10. Prose - beginners. 11. Metamorphoses of drama and theatre. 12. Comeback of social-critical and political topics into literature. 13. Forms and metamorphoses of popular literature. 14. Summary.

Learning outcomes
This subject directly extends subject Current literature I and has the same purposes. But this subject is even focused on concrete literary works of selected literary persons, various literary kinds and genres, so popular. Mostly focused is on characteristics of their literary works and interpretation of most important literary works, in that way, so student after finishing this course gets elementar knowledges about current literature in way of it´s artistic and even popular forms.
Student is able to orientate himself/herself in current literature, they are able to understand partial relationship with previous phases, he/she realises stratification of current prose, poetry, drama and not only the division on sort-genre, but even on quality levels, he/she is able to classify informations, to structure explanations of dictionary entry, to create text of proper "genre".

knowledge of the field on the level of GCSE exam knowledge of disciplines connected to the central domain of study knowledge of appropriate terminology
