Learning outcomes
This subject provides to students basic informations about current literary life and literary works. For this is used bi-polarity of education. Purpose of this subject is namely to introduce students with current publishing practice, with literary magazine even with methods, by which is literature reflected in media. Even to lead students to reading and reflection of current Czech literary works. Introducing with developement moves and trends in sphere of poetry, prose even drama, should be followed even with deeper comprehension of meaning and sense of literary critics. Class credit awards will be conditioned by presentation of each student in seminar and two written tests of knowledge based on offered range of choices (essay about current literary problematics, analysis of literary function in selected media, analysis of selected author or literary work based on literary-critical reflection).
Students are able to orientate himself/herself in current literary life, they get knowledge of primary communication channels and differences between them, and even realise the uniqueness of literature even uniqueness of particular types of its interpretation.
Prerequisites
knowledge of the field on the level of GCSE exam knowledge of disciplines connected to the central domain of study knowledge of appropriate terminology
