Course content
|
Diploma thesis is conceived as individual work of a student on his qualificatory bachelor project.

Learning outcomes
|
During consultations with supervisor of a thesis, student presents his master´s project and prepares basic points of working and project-solving process. Together with supervisor, student prepares title and basic instructions of a thesis and writes it into IS STAG (University information system with all the data about students, process of studding etc.) Student can get credit for the subject, when supervisor agrees with a state of master´s project. Supervisor can, as a condition, demand knowledge of theoretical publications connected with the project topic, or presentation of 5 standard-pages part of a thesis.
Student is able to defend his intention in front of the tutor. He is able to prepare a diploma project and together with the supervisor plan the process of solution. He knows the content and formal requirements of writing a thesis. He knows basic literature focused on the writing of a dissertation.

Prerequisites

knowledge of the field on the level of GCSE exam knowledge of disciplines connected to the central domain of study knowledge of appropriate terminology
