1. Introduction lesson lecture - definition of terms Czech for foreigners, Czech as a foreign language, Czech as a second language; History of the branch Czech as a foreign language and its specifics, external factors and context; Workplaces in CZE and abroad that cultivate Czech for foreigners branch; 2. Target audience of students, their language skills, language and cultural base; Teacher of Czech for foreigners - native and non-native speaker 3. Conception of a language; Contrasting sight at substrate (mother) language and target-language (Czech); 4. Transfer and interference, universalism and relativism in language 5. Presentation of phonetics and phonology 6. Presentation of lexicon of a language 7. Presentation of grammar system 8. Social and cultural context 9. Strategies of conceptions of education - system and communication conception; basic lingual-didactic methods; 10. Common reference context of European languages; Characterisations of Czech language according to SERR at levels: A1, A2, B1, B2; Foreign students at Czech schools and their integration; Programme of Czech government; Czech cultural patrimony support in foreign countries

Learning outcomes
|
The main goal of this subject is to introduce students with linguistic aspects of a branch Czech Language for foreigners, as well as with its lingual-didactic rules. Main part of the discipline is a research of differences between Czech language as a native language and Czech language as a language that we teach foreigners. Teacher pays attention to state of Czech studies at Czech study departments in foreign countries. Students will work with selected Czech-language-for-foreigners textbooks.
Students will learn about the basic problems of disciplines: Czech as a foreign language and Czech for foreigners so that they are able to lead Czech lessons for other language speakers, both in Czech schools and schools abroad (school without borders, with fellow teachers; Czech language lecturers at foreign universities) as well as in terms of individual instruction.
