1. Didactics of literature as a specialized branch of didactics; Teacher of literature, textbooks and other documents 2. Lesson of literature; types of lessons and their structure 3. Organizing of literature curriculum 4. Planning connected with curriculum - preparations for lesson 5. Aims of literature lessons/teaching 6. Summary of thematic units and their content 7. Motivation, types of motivation, activating methods 8. Possibilities of interpretation of narrative text 9. Critical thinking: tasks and questions connected with interpretation of a text 10. Methods of working with lyrical text 11. Communicative, reader´s conception of literature education 12. Improving of pupil´s creativity during literature lessons 13. Reading, it´s functions and sense; Reader´s notes 14. Ways of classification and evaluation

Learning outcomes
The subject develops didactic skills of students that are preparing themselves to become teachers, especially skills connected with subject competence. The programme of lectures focuses especially on solving tasks connected with aims, content, education system, forms and methods of teaching of literature. Communicative conception of literature teaching is favoured. We also focus our attention on critical reading and comprehension strategies.
The student has the methodological knowledge of the didactic of literature. He can plan lessons, work up the preparation of lessons, organize work in the lessons of literary education, didacticize works of belles-lettres, he is up to lead the reader from individual experience to knowledgeable interpretation of a literary text, to lead the reader to the contemplative, critical, an informed reading. He is familiar with the relevant official documents and in teaching books currently used in schools.

knowledge of the field on the level of GCSE exam knowledge of disciplines connected to the central domain of study knowledge of appropriate terminology
