Course content
|
1. Detail characterization of Czech language and literature subject, it´s segments and ways of integration. 2. Definition and principles of General Education Programme (RVP) in the context of curricular documents Expected aims and outputs, schoolwork, resources and tools during education process of Czech language and Literature subject, according to type and level of school. 3. History of language education process, it´s progress and it´s important people. 4. Contemporary conception of teaching and education process; Teacher of Czech language and literature and his/her preconditions for the position. 5. Process of building knowledge during a lesson of Czech language; Preconditions of adopting of language competences and performances 6. Preparing process for lesson of Czech language 7. Methods and processes of work that lead to creativity of pupils and increase their interest during a lesson of Czech language. 8. Learning outcomes

The subject follows the contemporary Czech language disciplines (phonology, phonetics, lexicology, syntax, as well as stylistics), pedagogy and psychology, that are familiar to students thanks to their previous study. These pieces of knowledge and skills make them able to understand lingual-didactic, as well as psycholinguistic problems solved by Czech language teacher during concrete lessons at concrete type of school and level of education. The aim is to apply theoretical knowledge during education process, to get to know how to work with didactical and methodical handbooks, subject textbooks and workbooks (according to type and level of school) systematically (as well as other material and tools). Students make their preparations for education process, they model and analyse lessons, language exercises and they acquire knowledge of useful methods.
In the field of knowledge, the student can name, describe and explain basic features, principles and conception of language teaching on the relevant grade level, define and analyze specific features of modern czech language teaching and evaluate its importance for personal development of the pupil. In the field of skills the student can solve problematic phenomena in the czech language eductaion on the relevant grade level, suggest and judge various methods and forms of work, choose adequate methodical procedures (including alternative approaches), which leads to fulfillment of the expected outputs/aims according to Framework educational program/ school educational programm. Student can create and work up detailed preparation for teaching, simulate and analyze particular language exercises and lessons as a whole, coordinate various activities in teaching, taech according to textbook series for the appropriate grade level and create appropriate supplementary aids and materials for teaching. Student can correctly fix the spoken and written language performance of the pupil and evaluate him from the selected subject.
