1. Semantic structure of literary work. 2. Communication situations in literature. 3. A narrative. Models of basic differentiation. 4. Narrative situations. Typology of narrators. 5. Time and narration. 6. Lyric and poetry. Tropes and figures of speech. 7. Basic terminology of the theory of verse. 8. Prosodic systems. 9. Metric systems. 10. Hexameter. Free verse. 11. Rhyme. 12. Basic terminology of the drama theory. 13. Final test. 14. Final seminar, credit test, student assessment.

Learning outcomes
|
Seminars continue on already discussed problems and try to give basic information in the field of thematology, narratology and versology. Students gain knowledge useful for further study of (esp. Czech) literature, analysis and interpretation of texts. Hence seminars focus on practical analysis of concrete texts (analysis of narrative methods, metric analysis, analysis of tropes and figures in the poetic text). Student´s knowledge of these methods are examined by a written test.
Students understand problems of the study of literature; know its specification in the system of arts; can structuralize the system of literature threw proper terminological funds; adopt basic knowledge of the field of thematology, narratology, verse theory etc., understand changes in the subject according to social and cultural contexts. Students also know sources of literary knowledge (basic academic literature, specialized magazines, libraries, archives).
