Learning outcomes
Interpretations and discussion are helpful to enlighten important stages of old church slavonic development in Bohemia from 10th. to 11th. century which means in time, when "the Czech type" existed. Based on the readings of individual monuments of the circuit in "newczech" translations and in the original Slavonic form will be considered in the discussion especially the "direct" continuity of old church slavonic education between the period of Great Moravia and Bohemia circumstances that prevent this hypothesis. This subject is not focused strictly linguistically, but it also will illuminate aspects generally philological, literary, and historical. Knowledge will be proved in writting.
The student is able to characterize the development phases of Slavic and Slavonic literature; is able to define an overview of Czech type of the Slavonic and its monuments; describe and analyze thematic, compositional and linguistic monument of a certain type; identify linguistic and extralinguistic elements that testifies Czech origin. Student is able to: work with academic literature for this course; read text in Slavonic. Based on study of literature and reading text the student is also able to analyze monuments of a certain type in terms of their attribution (periods and places of their origin).
