1. Factors influencing the exploration of the poet's work. 2.-3. Mácha German creation, its genesis and development. 4. Textological question marks over the poet's manuscripts. 5. Mácha's ways-known and suspected. 6. Mácha and contemporary philosophy (Hegel, Schopenhauer, etc.) 7. Mácha's library and reading, Mácha as a literary critic. 8. Mácha and contemporary Czech and Czech-German periodicals (Mephisthopheles, Der Komet, etc.) 9. Mácha's religious beliefs, historical secret society 10. Mácha's love, acquaintances and friends. K. H. Mach and J. E. Hilscher. 11. Not as well known inspirational sources of Mácha's creation. 13. The last days, last friend, the last poem. 14. Closingseminar, student assessment, credits.

Learning outcomes
|
This seminar is focused on enlightenment of less known facts about Mácha's work and also on technological issues that are connected to his manuscripts.
Graduated student of this particular seminar gains knowledge about the problems associated with the exploration of Mácha's work and that inspires him to provide further independent research which leads to choosing the topic for academic work. At the same time student deepens his already obtained technological knowledge.
