Course content
1. Literature of regions in the context of literary science. 2. Region, Literature of regions and figures in personality of regions. 3. Literature of regions - short look on the origin and development in the past. 4. Variety of the term region and literature of regions nowdays. 5. The issue of centre and periphery, variety of quality in their work etc.. 6. Types of regions like " enkláva nika", "synergion" etc.. 7. Issue of regions in Bohemia. 8. Czech region literature present day and past. 9. Regionalism, local patriotism, tense nationalism. The changeable content of terms. 10. Regional authors in Bohemia, their place in todays literary context. 11. Tasks of literture of regions nowadays. 12. Use of methods of literature of regions in practise, 13. Regionalism in literary education. 14. Closing seminar, test for credits, students wokr rating.

Learning outcomes
Purpose of this seminar is to introduce to students methods of literature of regions and teach them how to use those methods while working with particular texts in concrete regions. Participants of this course are also introduced to ways how to use literature of regions in practise which means f.ex. in school-practise.
After attending the seminar the student will acquire basic knowledge of regionalism literary work together with the ability to apply them in practice in cultural and educational institutions.
Prerequisites
knowledge of the field on the level of GCSE exam knowledge of disciplines connected to the central domain of study knowledge of appropriate terminology
