Course content
1. Auxiliary verb "to be". 2. Conjugational types -e, -esz and -e, -isz/ysz. 3. Consonant and vowel changes. 4. Cardinal numerals 1-1000. 5. Future tense of the auxiliary "to be" and the negative genitive. 6. Grammatical exercises. 7. Phraseology, conversational and situational exercises. 8. Working with rehearsal texts. 9. Colour names and ordinal numerals. 10. The locative singular of nouns and adjectives. 11. Conjugational types -am, -asz and -em, esz. 12. Adverbs formation and grammatical exercises. 13. Conversation and new phraseology. 14. Time determination, days of the week and names of months.

Learning outcomes
The aim of education is to lead students to understanding of synchronic normative Polish grammar basics (with regard to history of basic language features). Education is based on confrontation of Polish and Czech language phonic, morphological, word formative, syntactical and lexical features.
Student gets competence of basic conversational acts and knowledge of basic morphological features.
Prerequisites
knowledge of the field on the level of GCSE exam knowledge of disciplines connected to the central domain of study knowledge of appropriate terminology
