Course content
1. Introductory seminar, subject characteristics. 2. Word classes from morphological view, flexible and rigid word classes. 3. Declination of nouns: masculine, feminine, neuter. 4. Declination of loan nouns. 5. Declination of adjectives, compound and nominal forms. 6. Possessive adjectives, their functional equivalent (possessive genitive). 7. Declination of pronouns. 8. Declination of numerals. 9. Conjugation of verbs, Verbs of I. - V. class. 10 Irregular verbs. 11. Passives, transgressives. 12. - 13. Gradation of adjectives and adverbs - connections with word forming. 14. Final seminar - credit test.

Learning outcomes
Deepen knowledge of functioning of Czech morphological system; create conditions for its practical teaching at all types of schools. Lead students to be able to connect their theoretical findings from functional morphology gained in subject Morphology I with practical abilities and knowledge of formal morphology.
Student understands the place of morphology in the system of linguistic disciplines knows safely Czech morphological system in its complex and function, is able to distinguish between differentiated variants of flexible word classes so that he can pass his findings and knowledge to students on all types of schools.
Prerequisites
knowledge of the field on the level of GCSE exam knowledge of disciplines connected to the central domain of study knowledge of appropriate terminology
