Learning outcomes
|
The aim of lectures and seminars is to present history of Polish literature to students, familiarize them with developing tendencies in the art movements of particular periods and highlight the most significant authors and pieces of Polish literature. It is necessary to point out the mutual influencing of literary production in Czech and Polish literature. Attention will be focused on the authors who received Nobel prize for literature such as H. Sienkiewicz, W. S. Reymont, Cz. Miłosz a W. Szymborska. Within the frame of seminars literary pieces will be analysed.
Student orients in basic developing tendencies of polish literature. Student masters genres and art movements of polish literature and is able to speak about the most significant authors and their pieces.
