1) Indo-European language society - place of Slavonic languages; language family, language union 2) Balto-Slavonic problems 3) Old Slavs - question of Slavonic original homeland 4) Proto-Slavonic - basic characterization, development of Proto-Slavonic until the era of so called classical Proto-Slavonic; developmental stages of Proto-Slavonic. 5) Era of so called classical Proto-Slavonic; basic tendencies of the phonic development in the era: progressive sonority of syllables (so called law of open syllables); palatalization (tendency to inner syllabic harmony and palatalization, i.e. palatalization of phones) Law of open syllables: 6) Disappearance of consonants in words 7) Monophthongization of diphthongs 8) Formation of nasals (and yers) 9) Metathesis of liquids and pleophony 10) Development of prosthetic consonants j- and v- Palatalization: 11) Velar palatalization (the first, the second and the third velar palatalization) 12) Changes of consonants before jotace 13) Proto-Slavonic umlauts of vocals 14) Evolution of nasals (denasalization) 15) Reducing and vocalization of yers 16) Old Church Slavonic as the first standard Slavonic language, missions, relations with Proto-Slavonic; spreading Old Church Slavonic to other areas (Bulgaria, Bohemia, Russia etc.) 17) The oldest Slavonic alphabets (Glagolitic alphabet, Cyrillic alphabet) 18) Old Church Slavonic noun - stem system 19) Old Church Slavonic adjective - nominal and compound 20) Old Church Slavonic pronoun 21) Old Church Slavonic numeral system 22) Flexion of verbs - general characterization, classification of verbs 23) Present tenses 24) Imperative 25) Aorist and imperfect tense 26) Infinitive and supine 27) Old Church Slavonic participles system 28) Old Church Slavonic literature from the 9th century to the 11th century; Old Church Slavonic canonical reliquies (the Zograf Codex) 29) Literature in Great Moravia 30) Old Church Slavonic literature in Bohemia during the reign of Premysl (10th-11th century)

The summary examination represents the ending of the study of subjects Slavonic Studies and Old Church Slavonic. Examination has an oral form. Part of the examination is reading and Old Church Slavonic text and its analysis.
