Learning outcomes |
This subject involves introducing students to problems of individual linguistic levels (its units and relations), increasing their knowledge of the linguistic terminology, providing them a brief insight into basic linguistic disciplines which will be more specified during the study, clarifying and deepening their current understanding of language. Seminars focus on improving student's theoretic knowledge and its usage in a linguistic analysis of present language occurrences. Final examination has a written form
Students are able to consider language as a structuralised and hierarchized system, to use and understand basic linguistic terms, to think about connections between language phenomena and to use basic processes in the analysis of language units. |
