Course content
The role of Zoological gardens by rescue of endagered animals. A breed programs of European and World´s assotiation of Zooological gardens. A world databasis ISIS and role of co-ordinators. CITES. Main problems of introductions as well as reintroductions. Rescue programme of the breeding of endangered animals in the Czech Republic. Prospectusses of the animal conservation. A rescue programme of an European Assotiation of Zoos and Aquaria.

This seminar is aimed to discuss ethological, ecological, political and social aspects related with breeding of animals and with repatriation programmes. The place action of this seminar is a Zoological garden at Chomutov (Northern Bohemia).
