1. Characteristics of life. 2. General biology of viruses, procaryotic and eucaryotic cell. 3. Cell cycle, cell division, cell growth and differentiation. 4. Structure and function of biomacromolecules. 5. Biothermodynamics. 6. Cellular metabolism. 7. Photosynthesis. 8. Genetic information, replication, transcription, translation and regulation of gene expression. 9. Genetics of procaryotic and eucaryotic cell. 10. Types of heredity. Genetic transmission on organismal and population level. 11. Mutagenesis, carcinogenesis, teratogenesis. 12. Type of reproduction 13. Principles of ecology. 14. Principles of evolution.
