1. History and definition of ecology, terminology and classification of ecology 2. Organism and his environment, abiotic factors, types of adaptations 3. The main ecological factors and theirs influence to organism 4. Food relations between organism,types of food strategies 5. Characteristic and function of population (density, abundance, dynamics and the other) 6. Interspecific and intraspecific interactions between organism 7. Types, structures and characteristic of biocenosis, dynamic during the time 8. Structure, function and basic relationships in the ecosystem, steadiness and balance 9. The principle of biogeographical conception of islands 10.Biosphere and his structure and characteristic 11.Biodiversity, his components and methods of measures 12.Modification of biodiversity during the time period, main characteristic of phenology

Learning outcomes
The ecology is the science about the interactions among living organism and their environment. This subject is concentred on the characteristics of the environment of living organism, ecological factors (abiotics x biotics). The ecology of populations, synecology, aquatic and landscape ecology are the major subjects of these lectures. Other topics include the study of biodiversity, ecosystem, other parts of biosphere and the ralationship between man and the biosphere.

Prerequisites
Teaching in English is meant only for erasmus and foreign students. In the case of a small number of students is teaching in a form of individual consultations.
