Course content
1. Forensic serology - methods used in forensic practice. 2. Forensic zoology - selected methods used in forensic practice. 3. Forensic botany - selected methods used in forensic practice. 4. Forensic antropology - detection, identification and analysis of human (skeletal) remains. 5. Forensic antropology - PORIDOS (portrait identification system). 6. Forensic antropology - trichology. 7. Forensic genetics - methods used in forensic practice (PCR, sequencing, DNA profilig). 8. FODAGEN system. 9. Role and operation of a biologist at crime scéne. 10. Legislature related to forensic biology and forensic expertises. 11. Interpretation of results of a forensic biology expertise. 12. Introduction to forensic medicine - basic methods. 13. Forensic medicine dissection and post mortem examinations.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to provide information on basic methods used in the forensic imunology, anthropology, genetics and ecology. Laboratory exercising and the relevant topics on forensic medicine, criminalistics, criminology and legislature are included, too. Introduction to Biology (minimum).
