Course content |
A series of lectures focused on the following main topics: * Holarktis and fauna of the Czech Republic. The fauna dates from the Quaternary era in territory of the Republic . *Arboreal faunistic elements. Boreal elements. Mediterranean fauna elements of the Czech Republic. *Fauna of invertebrates and vertebrates in the Czech Republic in the context of the flora of Central Europe. *Species introduced , invasive and extinct , their area in Europe and expansion in the Czech Republic ; the degree of their threat and protection. *Red List of species living in the Czech Republic and their legislative protection. * The fauna of the natural reserve Czech Central Mountains and fauna protected area Ore Mountains.

This course is focused on the fauna of the Czech. The prerequisite for entering resp. study of this course is to successfully complete the test of courses "Phylogeny and System of Invertebrates" and "Vertebrate Zoology" .
