Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to familiarize those interested with the issue of sports and museum archiving, which in many ways is beyond the work in the archival network. It will introduce the important and interesting people of our sport and physical education whose records the museum preserves. It will provide participants with a view of sport and physical education over the past two centuries.
Students will learn interesting information about a special collection that poses many interesting challenges for archivists and curators. They will learn about the history of the field in this country, get to know many forgotten names from history, and learn how to use archival knowledge in an environment that must be governed by the dual laws of both museums and archives.
