Learning outcomes
As part of this course, students will be introduced to a basic overview of auxiliary historical sciences, including basic methodological principles, recommended literature, and the history of individual disciplines. The aim is to present this corpus as a whole and explain its close connection with the history of administration and archiving, where knowledge of these sciences is one of the most essential skills.
Upon completion of the course, students will acquire basic knowledge of the nature and character of auxiliary historical sciences. They will be familiar with the relevant literature associated with individual auxiliary historical sciences. They will be able to characterize each of the auxiliary sciences in terms of its subject matter and the basic methods it uses. They will also be familiar with the significance of the auxiliary sciences of history, their connection to historiography, and their forms of application.

The course will conclude with a written test to assess basic knowledge of auxiliary historical sciences, their characteristics, basic methodology, research results, and literature.
